Campo Europa – A Stunning and Challenging Golf Course in La Cala Golf Resort
Campo Europa is set in a beautiful mountainous landscape, offering a challenging yet enjoyable game for both beginner and experienced golfers. Among the three courses at La Cala Golf Resort, Campo Europa features the widest fairways and the largest greens, making it ideal for less experienced players while still presenting enough challenges for seasoned golfers. Designed by renowned architect Cabell B. Robinson, the course takes full advantage of the natural terrain, with holes that follow river valleys and weave through the mountains.
Hole-by-Hole Description
Hole 1 (Par 4, 341m) – A medium-length par 4 with a gentle downhill slope and a left dogleg. The fairway is wide, but bunkers near the green create a challenge.
Hole 2 (Par 5, 495m) – A long par 5 running down a steep hillside. The split-level fairway and multiple water hazards near the green demand precision.
Hole 3 (Par 4, 342m) – A short par 4 where positioning is key, as the narrow fairway is guarded by bunkerson both sides.

Campo America is one of the most popular courses at La Cala Golf Resort, offering a more challenging layoutthan Campo Europa. This course is particularly suited for experienced golfers, as its hilly terrain and deep valleysrequire strategic play and precision.
The course is characterized by long par 4s and par 5s, with wide fairways but less protected greens compared to the neighboring courses. The elevated landscape provides breathtaking views, while the wind conditions often influence the game, adding an extra layer of challenge. Campo America is an excellent test of shot accuracy and strategic decision-making.
